I saw some comment at some point in time
I mean, there's so many, I can't keep track, that was mocking us and calling us the dumbest people on the internet.
And the comment was about something like, one year, Ben considered putting Carl Anthony Towns in his top 10.
And I think I know the year because when we've done our top 10s in the past, we talk about players being healthy in different situations.
And then once players start to get injured, you need to acknowledge, like we've said this many times, like the 17th best player in the league might be number 10 or certainly have a case for number 10.
And there was one year where I think, it might have been back when I was doing the videos, Carl Anthony Towns' little cartoon popped up in one of the candidacy things.
And I remember thinking that like,
Yeah, and?
Like, okay, Karl-Anthony Towns has flaws and there's all sorts of stuff, but are you suggesting he's not an all-star or can't flirt with the all-NBA level of play or something?
Or that maybe his defense is truly so horrific that it offsets his great offense?
Do you not think his offense is great?
I mean, that doesn't seem to be that controversial.
So it's something I've been thinking about because now all of a sudden you put him in a situation where...
He looks a lot better, to your point.
Maybe it's just the environment.
And it's not to take away Cat's maturity.
There's clearly certain areas he's grown as a player and as a person, and he's much older, but...
Look at what the Knicks did in terms of protecting him in the pick and roll.
The shrinking of the court, and you mentioned Mikael Bridges and OG Ananobi and players like this getting in the gaps, or just how successful Jalen Brunson is at hedging in the pick and roll to kind of slow down the ball, because at this point he's been doing it for three or four straight playoffs.
