And how do you actually
like grade anything like that, which is a silly idea, but how do you really look at a pool of these players and kind of figure out I I'm I'm in I'm interested if you have any names from this year's draft of guys who you think have a much higher potential of turning into something really profound in the next, you know, five or seven years versus guys who you just look at the middle of the first round or the late
Late first round and you're like, Yeah, he might make it, he might not make it, he might be a solid role player, he might not be a solid role player, but there's some guys in here that give 'em six years and give 'em some weight on their body and give 'em a jumper and um I just think they have the the pathway to be great.
Yeah.
But yeah, the he does he's he's on the left side of the court, hesitates in the paint and then gets to the right hand.
Yeah, Wemby actually tripped on him on that play.
His foot his foot caught his foot.
And I think there is in a way there was nothing more um that epitomizes Brunson's stop and go than like getting this unstoppable force to catch a foot on his foot as part of this like herky jerky
old man just I'm gonna put you on a yo yo and go.
So yeah, it's a it's a great example.
He wouldn't be on the court if he played like that.
Okay, I I wanna recap something you said 'cause it's fascinating and I apologize if it's obvious, but I've never really
heard it laid out like this, I think there's a tendency to look at each body type
or positional archetype and say, okay, if you're a big, you need the wingspan and the shot blocking and the vertical dunking and the if you're a wing, you need to kind of look like something like Michael Jordan or be very long and athletic and whatnot.
If you're a point guard, you better have shooting skills and ball skills.
It'd be great if you had passing skills and I would love you to be quick and all these other things.
And then maybe this other
element that we've done historically is we say if I've never seen the way you play
translate into a high ceiling, then I just assume the way if okay, so you're a little slow and you're not super explosive and you kinda catch people a little bit, you have a little craft, but you're not an elite shooter or whatever.
I can't really figure it out.
