They may show up with presence, but they're not talking about it.
Let's be honest that those boys are locked into the manosphere and we need to do more work to reach them.
Yeah, this is the hope.
So a vast majority of boys who come to our workshops or programs, we run a variety of different experiences like the Flourish Journey.
We've shared those different types of experiences, but boys will often talk, like we run the old Richmond Footy Club model of, it's called Triple H.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I remember that one.
Hero, Hardship, Highlight.
And a large percentage of the times for the boys, it's about a woman in their life, mum, grandma, sister, aunt, friend, where they're sharing these stories, whether they're faced a hardship or someone's sick or someone has unfortunately passed away.
But a lot of the time the hero or the highlight is about how their mum hypes them up or supports them or takes care of them.
So in the workshops, I'm always, there is hope.
Yeah.
a vast majority of the boys that we work with talk about girls and women in a really healthy way.
Now, we're not there when the banter's going on.
So we try and do, like we have these activities where we talk about in and out of bounds, like what is in bounds, what is out of bounds, and we throw out some examples without judgment.
And then our facilitators guide them through different ways.
So something, a little comment or conversation sparks in one of our programs.
And
We feel like it's crossing a boundary.
It might be sexist, misogynist, homophobic.
