Always.

Yeah, so let's be honest, teenage boys aren't coming in talking about masculinity.

You know, they're not like, we're here to learn masculinity.

Yeah, that's not what they're coming in for.

Yeah, yeah.

We are bringing the conversation to them and usually our sort of like, how do we get them enrolled into like why the man cave's there is usually through a bit of play and a bit of fun and some activity.

But we get right into it.

Like what does it actually mean to be a young man?

And ask them questions, usually like a bit of a whiteboard exercise.

So we're asking them for themes, feelings, actions, behaviours, examples, so we can tease it out.

Yeah.

And then we talk about what sort of being a man, masculinity and manhood will mean, what it might have meant for their dads and former generations and what they hope it means for future generations.

And what we will talk about is traditional masculinity is actually a really beautiful thing.

Mm.

You know, the leadership and courage and strength and provider and protector and all of these beautiful things.

When those things are used in isolation is when they become harmful.

So what we want is a more expansive version moving forward where men can be all of those things plus.

So expanding plus kind, compassionate, caring.

We can set and respect boundaries.
