So at the last minute we had to do blah blah blah.
Because uh Schoolie D didn't want his songs in King of New York and he said no a bunch.
And then
He finished the movie with those songs in there without his permission and then screened it for him and apparently told him
Hey, if you want me to remove these, it's gonna be a huge pain in the ass.
And that was the start of their collaboration with him being like, Fine, you can put my songs in your movie.
And then he had several movies where he was writing music for Joe Delia while Joe Delia was the composer.
And then when they had uh, you know, were butting heads, then he did the score for a couple of 'em.
Yeah, like the addiction.
But it's the same way that his movies are so different is he has a wide sort of
His his taste
Is complicated and covers multiple genres, you know, cause like the music for Miss Forty Five, I think, is one of my favorite scores ever, especially
Like the music in the final party is l just lights out and it is so different from the music in King of New York, just drastically, which is so different from the music in Body Snatchers.
But he clearly has these things he's passionate about that are kind of idiosyncratic because like the addiction has so much hip hop in it and King of New York does.
And then he has other movies that are so far in the other direction.
And then like you watch Bad Lieutenant and it has like all more vintage tracks, but then it ends with his song and the end credits, which is a completely different energy.

And somehow it all mixes together because it is.
I I think uh this is either interesting or the most obvious thing I could ever say is like
