He's not a particularly ruthless individual.
He wasn't even very good at the coup the first time round.
He wasn't able to get the seat that he wanted.
Does anybody sort of sense that in any way, shape or form, he would be able to turn around in the way that Starmer did to anybody and say, I've got difficult decisions to make, and that the howling morass of Labour backbenchers would come up with anything other than, but we have to be kind to the people who are directly going to vote for me.
That's going to be the impact.
And
It's an interesting thing given that, you know, Reform UK had sort of hit a bit of a weird bump in the road.
Their polling wasn't rising meteorically anymore.
And I do suspect actually that this is going to end up giving them a fresh bit of impetus where they don't deserve any because they're not ready for a general election.
They're not ready for government.
But my word, the Labour Party is really keen to give them as many opportunities as possible.
Of course, then they'll just come up with another really bad candidate and we'll find ourselves in the same situation at the next by-election.
But that's all part of the fun, right?
That we just keep on making the same mistakes.
This is going to be something else that we end up blaming Boris Johnson for.
because Boris Johnson was able to go from being a mayor to prime minister.
And so, so many other people thought, ah, that's a route, I can do it.
And now we're going to be subjected to even more people who are not as good as Boris Johnson.
I think that's the thing that we have to take away from this.
Actually, yeah, that was as good as it got.
