When we made Diamonds with Sia, I remember Stargate was sending it to Rihanna and I was like, really?
Like, I don't know about this song.
I guess I trust you guys.
You know, I was trusting my collaborators.
They sent it in and then a guy named Tata that works with Jay-Z made one change that made it like really good.
And then they worked on it and I was like, oh, it's good.
And then.
I remember we got the demo back after Rihanna sang it.
And I was like, oh my God, this is so good.
How did I not see this?
And then it was like a huge number one.
And that goes to like,
not always thinking you have all the answers.
I don't have all the answers and I trusted the people around me and I listened and I took advice and I took criticism and I could have easily like tried to shut the thing completely down, but I listened to the people around me.
