Yeah, look, I like the concept of it because the summer tours...

in the past have been a little bit mismatched in terms of how teams approach you look at France over the last six or seven years they've always sent a second string side down there it has been an opportunity to blood some young players to rest some of your your more experienced players or your overplayed players but I think this puts an onus on it to

be a little bit more result focused and hopefully you increase the competitiveness and obviously you know it leads to a big final weekend in Twickenham in November it seems as if everybody is taking it more seriously just looking at the squads that are being picked and hopefully it leads to a better competition look at international rubies to cash cow that's the part of the game that's thriving the most and they're trying to sweat that asset although I see rumblings in South Africa

of poor ticket sales for South Africa, England.

I think a lot of that's down to maybe the cost of tickets for fans.

But you would think England, South Africa would be a sellout given the fact that the Springboks are Springboks and England's standing in the game.

But I don't think that's down to this competition.

It's just probably just cost a living in South Africa.

And the big games that are coming with New Zealand coming for a tree test tour a little bit later on, I think...

but unfortunately I suppose this won't get momentum because next year it won't happen because of the World Cup and then it comes back in the year after but in general I'm excited by it but yeah like normally people will be chatting to you about rugby and for the last week there hasn't been you know no one seems to be everyone seems to be just taking a deep breath and hopefully it picks up again now

Just on that, I think back to the last World Cup and I know it ended in disappointment but Ireland were in a really good place at the last World Cup and the summer, 12 months beforehand they'd gone to New Zealand and won a series and obviously we can't win a series in this summer tour but

certainly I think if Ireland beat Australia it's not going to be a game changer in terms of belief but certainly to beat Australia and beat New Zealand and obviously Japan would be a real nice bolt on to what was a good finish to the Six Nations and I think then that confirms that

this squad is in a really good place you know age profile style of play everything is is then bang on and you've then you've got obviously the second part of this competition in November and then you have a Six Nations and then and then you're leading towards the World Cup so I think from that point of view it could give us a real shot in the arm just in a season when

at the end, I know Leinster won the URC, but in general, like, Irish rugby's been kind of on a little bit of a, it's been a bit of a wave in terms of the content and optimism over the course of the season.
