So my understanding is the players value him massively.
And...
my understanding as well is that the players maybe feel that he's been undervalued.
Sorry, he hasn't been given as much say in what's happening.
That's just the narrative that's coming out from the dressing room.
Like you sign a double World Cup winning coach and then British and Irish Lions series winning coach, you don't put stabilizers on them.
You know, they're not an apprentice.
And that's the challenge because obviously you've got
Leo's the head coach but I think like the reality is this team looks less like a Jacques Minabar team than it did in the past if they were completely aligned and had a kicking game now there's another challenge as well that we haven't talked about when your breakdown in your set piece crumbles
your defense is never, and everything else is going to break as well.
So it's not just defense in isolation.
But I think, look, he's a phenomenal coach.
He has the power to motivate.
He's a winner.
I'd like to hope that he gets another year and he feels valued.
I'd like to hope he feels valued because I certainly think we were so lucky to have him here.
It's all the debate, and I understand the debate around Leinster's way of playing and all that stuff.
But once you make that decision to sign him, you need to, I think, you need to double down and make everything based around that.
And as I said, the Densler team that I saw post Six Nations last year for the Glasgow game, for the Harlequins game, it wasn't the same team that, it wasn't the same style of play that had been happening a little bit before that.
