I know people didn't please people on the eye, but that looked like a Jacques Ninobar, more, sorry, more, the type of rugby I would expect a Jacques Ninobar-influenced team to play.

And probably since then, it's just been a little bit mixed.

And I think we'd all love press conferences like that, where there's actually someone who's really, really strong opinion,

experienced coherent and consistent in his message and there's respect there and it can go back and forth I thought it was very interesting from a Leinster point of view do you want that out there no I don't think you do I think from above Leinster would be very concerned about how their communications has kind of got a bit wild the last three or four press conferences even post-match in Bordeaux but for us and for the fans it's something to talk about and we're not talking about the team now which is maybe that's the plan but I thought the team played really well on Saturday

Yeah, I think Johnny's point around, I think it's interesting is that there's a big push from Leinster management coaches to get it out there how they're the only one still in the URC and they're the only one in the Champions Cup, which is absolutely technically true, but it ignores the fact that they're the ones set up for success most.

And they are homegrown players and they deserve great credit for developing the Ring Roses and the Hugh Keens and all that stuff.

really high-performing organizations, they know that's part of what they do and then they get them to that level where they're 50, 60 cappers and British and Irish Lions and they say, now we've got to turn this into...

into wine you know so I just think the best thing to do is keep quiet win another trophy and work out why you didn't win the European Cup this year and and then go and chase that again not be kind of clapping yourself on the back about what your win record is more consistent than everybody else and all that like no one will remember that when when Hugh O'Keele and Caelan Dorris retire they're not going to have anything on the wall well maybe the one on the wall I had an 80% win record

Medals and trophies is what counts in the world.

And I even, like, I was going over to Connacht Glasgow at the weekend and I took a book from the library, Front Up, Rise Up, which is the history of Connacht's 2016, you know, and the background to that and the little anecdotes and the stories of how they got there

Really enjoyable, really fascinating.

But that's the reality of it.

The people who win things tell the story.

And the others usually keep their mouth shut and wallow on it, analyze, review, and get better.

This thing around, what I really find amazingly strange is the narrative from Saturday night that Leinster are getting lots of messages of goodwill that we haven't seen.
