love that i love i love that yeah i i i'm again if i wasn't into like records and stuff i never would have heard it from the this fantastic band that is no more uh trish keenan the singer passed away years ago called broadcast from england and it was on this weird broadcast record like a sample from a movie or a tv show and it just i don't know i just always thought it was so cool
I want to be, I get that we're a heritage act.
I get all these things.
You're not a heritage act.
But the point of it, yeah.
But also I can't be involved with anything that isn't tingling with life.
You know what I mean?
It has to be alive.
And I think, again, Rich and I are just very lucky to have each other, not as brothers.
as brothers and as partners you know songwriting my songwriting partner in this and my business partner in this and we went through a lot of to get here and you know made mistakes and tried to learn from them and you know and um yeah to be doing it and to be doing it at a level that feels so good to us because that's the other part of
you know, our life is like, we've been hard, you know, it could, a lot of it was, and we have had our moments dancing with arrogance or whatever, but a lot of it was just, you know, we, there's a, there's a certain pure, there's some flame that burns somewhere that is like, you know, it's almost a theory and legend or something that Rich and I need to keep that flame between us because we love it so much.
We love it.
and those moments where we get to still write songs that people will listen to.
And I know everyone likes to hear the old songs and we love to play them, and if anyone never even heard us, we would still be doing this because that's what we do.
Some people build an engine in an old Corvette.
Some people, you know,
jump off mountains, whatever.
This is what we do.
And you know, again, it'd be nice to take these chances, but for there to be this
