and he's got a great background he was doing a law degree and he didn't actually it wasn't until he got into Bilbao's first team that he ended up giving up the law degree and he just sounds like a real character and I think the charisma stuff is that would be my worry in a sense in that I think now a lot of people do equate charisma to Klopp and being that sort of really rambunctious outspoken character and I don't think he is that no

But I do think he has probably better soft skills than Arma Slot.

I do think the Dutchness of Slot will be different to the Spanish.

And again, this is a sweeping generalisation.

Yeah, but I think it's a different approach, isn't it?

Spanish football and Spanish people.

It's just a different cultural way of approaching things.

But I do think it is an enormous risk.

That's not to say that the risk can't pay off.

I think Liverpool have a guaranteed...

You know, at least, what, it'll be 48 games next season, guaranteed.

Yeah, and that's more than he's ever managed in his career.

So there will be an element for him of learning lessons, of learning on the job.

But again, as I said earlier, I think that would be the case for probably the majority of gettable candidates to come in.

And I also think, you know, we can sit here and say it is about style and it is to an extent.

And I think people would have been maybe more sympathetic to slot last season if, you know, even if results weren't going his way, there were things that you could get behind.

And I think Iriola would give that.

But the question is, how long do people stay patient for?

Because this is a different fan base to when Jurgen Klopp took over.
