Hearing Megardly talk about ultramarathoners, it sounds like they have no off switch.
So maybe Ajay just overdid it.
That's a theory, that Ajay was doing the Forrest Gump and just kept running and got himself into a tailspin of dehydration.
Responders take note and fan out across the search grid.

But it doesn't take long for the pros to realize they're in over their heads.
So Farley leads a few groups of deputies and bloodhounds down the local trails.
The dogs pick up a scent, possibly Ajay's, on a trail that's near a local resident.
That guy reported to searchers that he heard a single gunshot at sunset the day Ajay vanished.
It's a detail the sheriff's department registers as a potential clue.
