I'm tired, too, is to try to figure out all the different ways of defending our country and defending our values while he's still trying to assault them on a daily basis.

And so we need to start acting accordingly.

But my sympathies really lie with...
People who are trying to deal with all of this deluge of stuff directly, people who are living in some of these cities where they're dealing with ice raids and they're just trying to get to work.
And all of a sudden they're being pulled out of their cars by masked men demanding to see their papers.
I think about people who are trying to run.
Maybe you have a two or three person business, but you rely on goods that you're importing from another country.
All of a sudden your costs are going up 50%.
and you're a good person, you don't wanna lay off one of your three employees to shoulder those costs.
So you're taking the hit on that.
And now all of a sudden you're looking at new tariffs and you don't know what they're gonna be and how much it's gonna be.
How are you supposed to plan a budget like that?
How are you supposed to run a business
like that and there's you know hundreds of thousands of examples of that across the country so all i can do is um have faith like like heather says i like to to spend some amount of my time not in the muck with trump trying to figure out what's the crazy thing he's doing today but instead think about when there is an opportunity to do something better how do we do a better job of it you know we were both in the biden administration i think we did some good things but there were some areas where we fell short
And we got to figure out how to do better the next time so that the next Donald Trump doesn't take power four years after that.
Yeah, I just want to put some numbers behind all of this.
So far under these now illegal tariffs, the administration has collected $175 billion.
Wow.
