So it is interesting to see who shows up to the show, but it is a larger audience.
And also you have to realize, which is something I learned many years ago,
is that everybody's not going to like you.
So don't worry about that.
The people that like you will come and see you, and then you perform for them.
You can't worry about all the other bullshit.
Well, you know what's really missing, especially from comedy in general, is context.
There's no setup.
They'll take a punchline and then say, oh, they said this, but what was the setup?
What were we talking about an hour before?
What were we talking about that led into this?
So that kind of stuff, I think, is missing.
Because everybody wants to have a gotcha moment.
Ooh, you did this.
Ooh, you did that.
If you don't like it, just move the fuck on.
A lot of people I don't like.
