And one doctor told me effectively I would be disabled because I would not have the ability to rotate my neck enough to be able to drive.

So, you know, there was that.

And I get to I get to the hospital as well.

And they told me, like, you just you were this close to stroke or paralysis or even death.

So I think years before, if I didn't have the mental tools.

I think, man, I would have plummeted.

My mental health would have been, I would have been in a very, very bad place.

But I'm so grateful to have had the tools now to be able to deal with all those ups and downs.

I think people are very used to seeing a certain side of me.

And I think when you see, and it's something I talk about in the book as well, but I think of the comedians that I loved that ended up struggling with their mental health.

I think of like Robin Williams.

I could never understand, how can someone who brings people so much joy

struggle how can how can he be in so much pain yeah that was hard for me to understand um until i went through it myself and don't get me wrong man i am so grateful and i think in many ways wrestling saved me it gave me purpose uh i love being that escape for people i love when people said like you know uh i came to a show and you or you and the boys were the best part of the show

And I brought my kid or or even, you know, we have people who come up to us and say, like, I just had a loss or my grandmother passed.

But we watched you guys together and it helped us during a difficult time.

And that means the world.

But for me, as fulfilling as that was, it didn't fix me.

You know, it didn't it doesn't erase the self-loathing.

It doesn't erase the issues you have with your self-esteem, with the way you look.
