Vaudevillion.
It comes from the word vaudeville, which is and vaudeville was the premier entertainment in the world from around about eighteen eighty to nineteen forty.
Wow.
And it was the original entertainment.
The live shows of vaudeville took the world by storm and then and then along came various media radio came along and stuffed it up.
So you went to a few of those shows and then you thought this is great.
So
I love these shows and um that's how I started.
Yeah.
Uh so basically it's it's uh I tell you where it comes from is uh I did a show in in London a couple of years ago and uh in in fact it it toured here as well and at the end of it I there was a there was a comment where it says Bill Bailey's like a modern day vaudeville and I thought, Oh hang on, I need to know

more uh what what do you mean by that?
And of course
For those of you who don't know Vaudeville, Vaudeville was like variety.
It was like the variety show where they had all these different entertainers would come on.
There'd be a magician, then there'd be a dancer, then be a singer, then there'd be like a specialty act, some guy that he had a talking duck, he had a dove some
Some guy some guy come on, he had a funny laugh.
I mean literally it was like that.
And and then so it basically say you get all of that in one Bill Bailey show.
