point and it is you're right it's something that i think can make people very uncomfortable one of the ways i think about this is to say look it's exactly as many says you know who the low performers are that's not a secret the numbers are the numbers right so that's not not like that's we're not finding out anything new in that sense but by understanding though of those low performers which of them have got real potential to move out of the low performer category right and and

That gives you an enormously important insight.

There is clearly a difference between those people who are low performers, who really don't have necessarily the right personality traits to develop their capabilities effectively.

And for those people, they may be indeed in the wrong role.

But it's really important to know the ones that do and just have never had the capability development.

So in some sense, what we're doing is...

we're not boxing people into being, you know, the bad people by person box.

We're doing exactly the opposite.

We're actually trying to add a level of nuance to people in the low, low, the low performer category to help see how they can best be helped.

So I think it is to some extent, a matter of kind of mindset, but, but,

I always think I know it's always a fear and I absolutely understand why.

But I think we're actually doing the reverse of boxing people into the into the, you know, the bad the bad person's box.

You know, it's very poor.

It's poor.

It's very.

I mean, you know, we can dance around it.

But the truth is, it's very poor.

And the data is unequivocal.

You know, managers and this is where the availability heuristic plays in.

Judging potential is hard.
