We were both kind of momless boys.

And the first convert down the street brought us a children's Bible storybook.

I mean on a good Sunday if you got twenty five percent, you had twenty five people.
Yeah, twenty five people.
I I actually still keep in touch with the pastor from that time.
He says, Yeah, we got pretty excited if we had twenty five or thirty five people.
But the neighbor, two doors down, brought us a children's Bible storybook.
And for the first time I heard the stories of David and Goliath and Joshua and the battle of Jericho and Moses and the parting of the sea.
