And this is something, it reminds me of David Goggins, the guy who's a former Navy SEAL.
He's always running around and shouting and this kind of thing, and super high performer in the physical domain, who's now actually studying to become a paramedic.
And he said it perfectly.
He said, it's never been easier nowadays
to outperform your peers.
But it's mostly a function now of what you don't do.
Just putting your phone away gives you what looks like a cognitive boost, but it just puts you on par with all the generations before you that didn't have phones in the room.
So to succeed now as a young person,
it's much harder unless you're able to abstain from interactions with short form video mostly and the phone generally.
Now I'm really dating myself.
