When they say this stuff, they're saying it because they want to dig at you.

And if musicians, you know, famous musicians are at one of our shows, unless it's, you know, ones who are friends of ours, if they want to come back and meet us after the show and say hello, they'll come back there and most people wouldn't take this as an insult, but it is.

They'll come back and they'll say, hey, it looks like you're really having fun up there.

which means, oh, isn't it cute?

You got a little hobby and you're having fun up there and you get to be a rock star.

That's what they mean by it.

And I just kick them the fuck out of the dressing room.

I mean, I'm not joking.

There was a very famous guy who came back to see us in Dallas one time.

And he came back and he goes, you know, it's really nice you get to do this.

I said, get to do what?

And he said, you know, get to go out on the road and stuff and, you know, get this part of you and get to have fun up there.

And so I said, well, you know, I have some songs about suicide.

So you think that's fun?

I said, it's not fun.

I'm writing about shit from my soul that I grew up in.

I'm also writing things that are hopeful songs.

I'm writing a lot of stuff here.
