Everywhere you look, no matter where you are walking in the city, you'll see a Dublin Bus asset.

To see an organisation of that scale, I've just seen a fantastic opportunity for myself to grow.

550,000 customers on a daily basis want to tell me how we're performing, so it's very, very much different than what I was doing before that.

Last year, we're up around 164, 165 million passengers.

So the growth within the transport sector and particularly in buses and in Dublin Bus has been exceptional.

And of course, that brings its own challenges.

It is, and what you're describing there is part of the Bus Connects project, which the NTA, the National Transport Authority, are implementing.

So one of the projects as part of Bus Connects is a network redesign of all those routes, as you say.

And in simple terms, what they're trying to do is set up a number of spines.

So if you can think about it, it's like a wheel with a hub in the middle, and the hub being your city centre, and then your spokes being...

which are going out to the very different suburbs of Dublin city.

So that's what they're trying to do.

And then they're trying to link them with local routes, which are transversing those spokes of the wheel in simple terms.

So you're correct.

In simple terms, they're trying to make a much more integrated service from a bus point of view, connecting more people to more places.
