That's right, which is one of the reasons why the Australian Labour Force Surveys always had eight rotation groups.
So we're we're very fortunate that we live in a country where people are uh uh happy to respond to the survey, so we've got higher response rates than than any other countries in the world.
But we've also got people who continue to respond right the way through those eight months, right and until they rotate out of the survey.
And so because we have eight months, and that's more than most countries.
So if you were to compare it to say Canada and they've got six months, that means that you've got about eighty percent of the response coming from exactly the same people.
So the unemployment rate goes up.
Most of that is actually reflecting the same group of people that we were talking to last month, telling us what they were doing this month, um, and and it being more of a reflection of what's happening in the real world, rather than just reflecting the fact that we've got new people in the survey.
Yeah.
Uh so we're we're fortunate that that we live in a country where people tend to be quite civically minded.
Um so people are required to respond to the survey under the Census and Statistics Act.
We we never have to to really um chase people up from a compliance perspective.
Most people respond willingly or or if you give them a nudge to say you need to do this, then they're generally pretty good at responding.
We
We're also in a good position where we do have a range of ways that people can respond to the survey.
So that works for busy people who can go online, people that don't have technology options or may um struggle to be able to communicate over the phone, there's there's still face-to-face options.
So a lot of that works in our favour to make sure that we've got really high quality representative information.
We've also done a good job over the years in evolving.
The way that we do the survey in order to make sure that it's as contemporary as possible.
On your reflection around revisions, it also partly reflects the fact that Australia's got really high quality population information, and that gets released every quarter.
Mm-hmm.
