Like I started out at 185 and then I kind of lost a couple pounds throughout the season.
So I'm hoping to just hold steady at my weight right now, maybe even gain a little bit.
And then this next offseason, like.
get after it again like do the same exact thing that i did this last offseason put on like 15 20 pounds and then hopefully you know that power will climb back up to where i want it to be at um and then obviously you know maybe look at some like stuff to get the ball up in the air maybe pull the ball a little bit more but um i think i just kind of want to
Yeah, no, uh, it's definitely, um, a different swing from both sides.
I will say that I'm just trying to get on top of the ball, uh, both ways.
Um,
You know, right-handed, I move a lot forward more.
My legs, like, shift around a ton.
Left-handed, I'm more, like, pick up and put down and just kind of swing through the opposite way.
So it's a lot of tinkering with full swings, especially as I don't get too many righty at-bats compared to lefty at-bats.
I would say, like, I know my left-handed swing, at least in the game, a little bit more than I do my right-handed swing, but...
I'm always looking forward to getting those right-handed at bats and tinkering and finding out like what I can do different, how to adjust right-handed.
Yeah, it's definitely very freeing.
I'll just say I worked a lot in spring training, just kind of getting my footwork down, like knowing how far to be off the bag, trying to figure out how quick the pitcher is to the plate, how slow the catcher is, trying to figure out all of that and then deciding when the best time to go is and getting the best jump that I possibly can.
Oh, definitely.
It really makes the hitter's job a lot easier.
All you have to do when he's at second is get him over.
When he's at first, you've got to worry about the double play and you've got to do all this and that.
