So that common ground is always a place where you should feel welcome to go and talk to the school.

For me personally, obviously I have many conversations and

have received much feedback around different things that we've put into place.

But one thing as a school I like to pride myself on is that you know what's going on.

And if you've got more questions around it, then, you know, I've never been someone that assumes that I'm the smartest person in the room.

I'm hugely respectful to everybody.

And I want to make sure that you understand so you feel comfortable in the decision you've made to choose in my situation, Lemonwood Grove School is the best schooling choice for your child.

Yeah, I think that probably the biggest thing we often hear is it's very different to the way in which we deliver curriculum now compared to when parents were at school.

And so what we find most of the time is that their child has gone home and they've tried to teach them some maths or some reading or some writing.

And the child takes the teacher's side.

It's very much, this is not how I was taught in class.

And the arguments around the dinner table.

So it's just about, again, if you want to help, then please reach out.

Please ask questions.

It's different to what it was like, but it's the same common goal, which is to ensure the child is learning and developing academically.

So for us at our school, we do encourage parents to ask questions.

We try and have parent information evenings so that we're aware.

We put them on video as well because we also know that some parents

you know, six o'clock at night doesn't actually suit them.

So finding ways in today's world where we're far more accessible than we've ever been to make sure that there is a clear expectation but also pathways for both parties to, I guess, work in social harmony.
