So the guards got into the house I think at about half nine or ten o'clock that morning and all the other people were still in the house.
Everything was untouched.
So like the shed, everything.
So they were able to clear the crime scene and they just kept Johnny Moran was the guy's name and his brother.
They just kept them there and he was then brought in straight away for
for interview and like instantly you know he said he didn't know who I was he didn't know my name then he'd use my name and you know things like that and like even the way he spoke in interview like he said that I had been there till eight o'clock cuddling him on the couch even though there was CCTV of me leaving at like five you know things like that but
Yeah, they got in straight away, thankfully, and were able to get everything and photograph the place.
And, you know, it hadn't been touched.
Nobody had really moved since I had left.
When I reported it first and then, you know, the detectives came down to talk to me as well.
And I had to make a statement and I had to give my phone over and all this kind of stuff.
And I thought, like, this will be done and dusted in a year.
Do you know, like, I was so naive to even how these things worked.
But I was more or less completely in the dark.
Like, I think when my phone was taken, it could have been gone for nearly a year.
I think it took two and a half years to get charges to come back from the DPP the trial took took us five years to get to trial and like in that time we're both in Mullingar his life is completely normal and mine couldn't be further from what it had been do you know like in those five years I just completely changed as a person I was a totally different person but
yeah you're completely in the dark and you think sometimes you're like this is so unfair why am I being treated like the one that's done something wrong here like I know nothing I don't know what's going on I don't know
Like I didn't know up until we went to trial if they had gotten the bottles from the house.
