That's not gonna work.
We need energy sources that you can build anywhere, you can build at scale, you can build at any time, you can run at any time.
You know, energy is something that people want when they want it, where they want it.
When I flip the light switch on, the light above my head has to turn on.
That's what this provides, provides that sort of dispatchable base.
Yeah, so one of the really intriguing parts about fusion is
you know it it doesn't really consume natural resources right the fuel is a a rounding error like the amount of deuterium tritium lithium yeah it's it's it's sort of the best way to think of it is um it's it's deuterium and and lithium but like really there's not a lot of stuff to talk about in it because the amount is so so small right so it's a it's totally a a rounding error in cost and availability and there's enough fuel on the planet to to run the planet
Many, many times longer than the sun will be around.
So like it's the definition of sustainable.
Okay.
The key thing is it's all about knowing how to make a machine that works, a machine that can create the right conditions inside of it for the reaction to actually occur.
Okay.
So that's a technology.
Once you know how to do that, you will make those machines in factories.
And of course, those machines, they'll get cheaper to manufacture.
We'll get
better insights into simplifying them.
We'll we'll learn how to make them higher performing, lower cost.
Now that's been the history of anything that that did that switch from, you know, a a a resource that you consume to a technology that you build.
You know, the horses didn't get better.
