They recognize that Poland has a culture, that Poland has an identity that is not just โ that is deeper than the institutions that guide it, protect it, govern it, and manage it.
they recognize that there is a culture there that is the bedrock and the institutions are there to preserve the bedrock.
Whereas in England, because of liberalism and because we've gone down the liberal road, the institutions don't see themselves as safeguarding a national identity.
They just see themselves as managing the contract of the state to the individual.
And the individuals are paramount and there isn't a culture to look after.
And that whole ideology accelerated from the 1960s.
Whereas Poland, because they were suppressed by the USSR, the thing that helped them to hold on to their identity was their Catholic faith.
And that's actually what helped to bring down the USSR.
And it's what helped to rebirth Polish nationality, you know.
And if the rebirth of Polish nationality can come from the church, then the rebirth of English nationality can come from the church as well.
It was a bit of a backward and forward.
Just think about that defence.
I mean, I did watch the whole interview.
I can't remember lots of details from it now.
But I listened to the interview with interest.
And I was left... The one thing that I do remember is that I was left with the impression...
that his mind is just awash with dawaganda arguments and dawaganda propaganda.
And I don't think that he's been challenged with like a seriously critical view of Islam, you know, or done any academic research into Islam.
He's just basically believed the propaganda and he seemed filled up with that, you know, which, you know, and that's,
