I mean, otherwise, he was a very engaging guy.
He's got a very engaging kind of personality, a very engaging voice, and he's got an engaging story.
It was an interesting interview.
But it sounded brainwashed to me, to be honest.
Yeah, but looking at his argument, and this is obviously something I've talked about lots,
on lots of different occasions, right?
The hadiths are very clear.
Muhammad married a child when she was six and then consummated the marriage when she was nine, okay?
And the Quran permits you to, it literally says that, you know, if you're going to marry a prepubescent child, you've got to wait three months to see if they're pregnant.
Now, just think about that for a second, right?
There's all kinds of issues right there.
You know, and in the books like the books of Fiki, which is Sharia manual codes, it says in black and white that you can marry prepubescent children, right?
It's just there in Islam.
So the idea that it was different back then is nonsense because Islamic law still permits it today.
And in Iraq, they've lowered the age of consent.
You know, the only country that I know of in the world where they've actually dropped the age of consent, and I think the age of consent is now 13.
The point is the idea that it was different back then is nonsense because according to Sharia law, according to all the Madhabs, you can still marry children today.
So that's nonsense.
The second point is, you know, he compared him to English kings of the past.
