While I still think that's something they would like to get done, I don't think they're under any pressure to do it unless they wait until the end of the year and he has a breakout rookie of the year season or something like that.

No, I know.

But I love the fact they're doing this now too.

So early in the season coming off a couple of wins.

And even though he's up here and I would expect him to be somebody like I'm looking at the batting line.

To me, he'd be an ideal leadoff hitter.

I don't know if that's been discussed, but I mean, he gets on base.

He knows how to steal.

He makes everyone better in that regard, I think.

So is that the spot he would be destined to do, you know, as far as the lineup is concerned?

It is.

I look at him like a George Springer type.

He gets up there, he can hit a lot of home runs, but he does more than that.

He can run the bases.

I think it's pretty awesome.

Let me ask you this then.

Is it Triolo or Gonzalez at third base?

If he starts it short, Triolo gives you the defense.

I think Gonzalez has more of an offensive pedigree there.
