Yeah, it's just, you know, it it's it's n it's not even
practice anymore.
It's not even scrimmages.
It's it's it's literally play guys that we're getting rid of and and hoping I guess that other teams show us their guys they're gonna get rid of.
But at no point are you even playing guys that that appear to have uh a whole lot of risk about making the the the roster and I'm just I'm uh it's just
It's ponderous because we had four of these, and in some cases five, and and geez, way back in the 70s, they would play six preseason games.
And and there's no perfect number, but whatever number they pick, the final game is going to be a waste of everybody's time.
And so now we're down to three, meaning the third one is a complete waste of time.
And we used to back it up to the regular season and say,
Well, we'll play next week after our final preseason game.
So they tried it like a bye week.
They tried to chop off a preseason game.
But everybody adjusts right away that says, Oh, okay, well then th the last preseason game, even if there was only one, George, it would be let's just make sure we don't risk anybody's health in that final preseason game.
And so I, you know
I I always try to have really interesting things about what we've seen, but but Friday night was such a chore just to watch it and and there's a you know, I I I guess the quarterback decision was made there maybe, but other than that
Just a complete waste of time, George.
It's like w it it I I I really I really wonder if we're getting close to
You know what, college can somehow play their season without a preseason slate at all.
Maybe that's what we should do, but of course, as everybody says, follow the money.
