What you're saying is
He can play for two or three weeks and not kill us.
And uh, you know, we can talk about all of the swing tackles over the last several years for the Dallas Cowboys and and you know, some of them, George, have been real spares, if if you don't mind me saying that about Cam Fleming or Cam Irving or uh Ty Naseki or
Josh Ball or Chuma Adoga or you know, I mean just who was the one um gosh, uh the forty year old that uh they ended up signing out of COVID.
I'm trying to remember who that was.
That was uh
Uh but uh
Who the heck am I thinking about?
But they they they had him for a for a couple of weeks in September of a couple years ago.
Anyway, the point is
They are not
landing these mid round draft picks to a point where they're ready to actually play in a game if we need them to.
And and I'd like to say that to the best of my knowledge, uh, you know, the Cowboys
just said, you know what, let's go trade for for somebody who we really liked in his draft.
And, you know, at times that's annoying because you're giving away another middle round draft pick, hypothetically.
But I just I I just think, you know, when you when you look at that and you say, uh we want to be good this year
You know, that to me makes some sense a and and I don't mind the cowboys going down that route.
And uh Broderick Jones
is not anywhere close to what they thought he could be.
And and from a cowboy standpoint, uh maybe that tells us that uh uh they believe that Duke Mannyweather and and and Connor Riley and those guys can can help him clean up his technique and so forth.
