I feel good at depth at wide receiver because Floy, uh depth at tight end because uh Schoonmaker and Span Ford both look like uh they can play big snaps if Jake Ferguson, you know, gets hurt.

But what am I going to do if I lose a tackle for a month?

Because I'm not even sure my starting tackles are that great.

And what am I going to do at running back if uh if uh you know Javante hurts his shoulder?

And so you just want to buy coverage for those spots in the short term.

And D Mercado said earlier he is great at picking up blitzes.

He is really, really solid at pass pro.

He is decent at receiving and that to me says my I have my third down back.

And I don't want to put that on Javante this year because Javante played too many snaps into the season and by Thanksgiving he didn't look the same.

Now he he was able to

come back and play really well a few games after that.

But I think the Cowboys this year plan on playing deep into January.

And if Javante was starting to get tuckered out by Thanksgiving, well then we got two more months to go, man.

So we need to have more troops there that we feel good that when they get on the field they're not one dimensional.

I can do that.

The Broderick Jones one was just to me a blinking light that as I was trying to, you know, make my final cut downs uh on the roster, I just I I hated every tackle that wasn't starting for me.

And uh that's bad.

It's it's very bad.

Now these guys, you're not saying he's a starting tackle.
