I prefer a little bit more weather.

I prefer a little bit of rain and a little bit of the upsetness of stuff.

But it's just sort of another thing you associate with this tournament.

But it looks like it's going to be warm and sunny for the rest of the weekend.

You know, Connors is, of course, notorious for not being a great putter.

He is a great ball striker.

He hits fairways.

He hits greens.

The first round, it's a little bit crazy, actually, that first round.

He made one bogey and 17 pars.

I mean, that's hard to do, to be perfectly honest.

And he came out, I think, a little bit frustrated.

But what you do to overcome mediocre putting is you just hit it closer.

And that's what he did.

I think he had two birdies.

There was a four-hole stretch where he birdied them all, 14 to 17, I think.

And he had two of those, which were putts inside two feet.

um i think he had the he had five putts five birdie putts that were inside 12 feet that's a better range for him rather than trying to roll him in from 26 and 27 as he was doing on thursday and you know cory has has not had a great year by his own standards but he's starting to show and he did a couple of weeks ago he played had a top 10 of the travelers and he played pretty well at the

at the u.s open making the cut um i think i think uh he's sort of finding a little bit of a groove right now this is this is by the way the 13th consecutive major that he's made the cut in so that's a pretty good mark as well shows you he likes to play the tough courses and he can play them well uh bob what's the biggest surprise to you so far two rounds into this tournament

I think I'd probably say the fact that Scotty Scheffler just can't find his putter.
