They're not playing close games.
Yes, if they were playing Louisville and SMU back-to-back, perhaps they would have lost too.
They are not, but they are not playing close games, and Miami lost two of the games.

And that's how you've sounded for a month, and it's only going to get worse, and people are going to dislike Miami, and Miami's going to enjoy being disliked, and we're going to argue for a month, and the whole point of it is to entertain the content machine.

You're making the argument well enough, and I believe most people watching the games would say there are three or four teams in the country that would be favored against Miami.
Texas Tech, Texas A&M.
There are very few teams, if I put them right now on a field and said it's one game for everything, that are going to be favored by a great deal over Miami like this.
