And because of adults' shame and adults' embarrassment and adults' fear, we don't teach and talk to children properly about it.

And we create a place where it's not safe for them to even ask about it, which I think is even worse.

And so I had little to no education.

I mean, I look back to my primary school.

I went to a Catholic primary school.

I have a memory of a banana and a condom.

Yeah.

I mean, it was better than nothing.

I mean, I didn't know what I was looking at.

I didn't really know what was happening.

I was, you know, whatever, 10.

I just was like, what is this?

We're all laughing and giggling.

It lasted 15, 20 minutes in the hall and went back to the room and never spoke about it again.

That was it, you know?

And secondary school, I couldn't say it got a whole lot better, you know?

They kind of went, oh, you all know about that, don't you?
