It's just like the perfect rapid.
Yeah.
You know, it's really refreshing because obviously, you know, if you people go back and look at all the different episodes, you know, we've had legends of the sport and we have people, we've had Olympic gold medalist and we've had extreme racers and freestyle athletes and people who charge class five all the time.
And here you are, somebody who is a very accomplished kayaker has charged really hard whitewater.
And you're like, my favorite thing to do is just to paddle class three with some friends and a half slice.
That is so refreshing because most of our listeners probably aren't getting in the slalom boats and trying out for the Olympics.
They're probably not going on the freestyle tour.
They're probably not doing 50-foot waterfalls.
They're probably going to the Ocoee or to the White or to the Salmon or to the Numbers in a half slice with their buddies.
You've got to get the training laps in.
That, I mean, like I said, when I say it's refreshing to hear, it doesn't mean that the other stories and other, you know, interviews that I've had, you know, has not been just epic.
You know, I mean, I love everybody we have on the show, but it's just kind of neat to have somebody with that perspective.

To go back to flow advice, you mentioned like talking to a beginner.
You take a friend out who's never been.
What would be your flow advice for somebody who's just now starting kayaking?
Yeah, so just always staying focused in the moment and doing what has to be done to be successful in that rapid.
