Uh so think about a a a new paddler. matched

I mean, you know, what advice you people come to Ottawa kayak school and they're like, Hey, I want to learn how to kayak, regardless of their age. matched

What is some of the first things you tell people whenever they're learning to kayak? matched

So one of my uh instructor mentors that I learned under NOC was a guy by the name of John Miller. matched

And I still remember him s him saying um loose hips equals safe ships. matched

Now once you think about a and uh I've had one of my guests call me out, they're like, I feel like you're asking about yourself here and I'm like, Well, maybe I am, but there's a lot of people I think fit this bill. matched

An older, more seasoned paddler who stepped away from the sport, you know, they could be at whatever level of skill, but now they want to come back to it. matched

They're a little older, their joints hurt a little bit more, and they're like, I want to get started back into kayaking again. matched

What advice would you give that person? matched
