And I think generally, especially on the indie side where they're a lot more flexible in terms of their marketing and everything, I think they're generally quite happy to, you know, kind of circle back in the future.
So that's really helpful as well, I think.
Amazing.
Amazing.
Yeah, I think it's just kind of the variety of pitches, like not just sending emails, but, you know, kind of doing outreach in other ways, like whether it's being at these sorts of events, whether it's sometimes even social media, like I'll see a developer or a marketer or whoever sort of promote that.
Like even earlier today, I saw someone which I hadn't really been that aware of.
I saw someone who actually I think is working with the Venba team had actually shared, oh, there's this India game showcase happening in a couple of weeks.
And, you know,
just kind of promoting it that way.
And that's kind of a great way to do outreach as well.
Like maybe that would have gotten buried in my inbox, but, you know, seeing it on social media, seeing a mutual retweeted, that sort of thing is a good way to get that sort of exposure as well.
And I think even just having really, and I think you might ask this later on, but with the press kits, I think having,
a good variety of those in terms of what they include is really helpful as well.
As an example, I'll shout out recently, again, I don't want to keep making everything about Canadian games, but obviously that's what I do the most.
Do it up, do it up.
There was a game that came out a couple of weeks ago called The Caribou Trail from a studio called
unreliable narrators in Montreal and just a quick overview that's a game about Newfoundland soldiers in World War II so going off to the Ottoman Empire or Turkey as it's now known to fight and they were very inexperienced so it's a very wonderful game and I loved it and part of what was helpful with that game is their press kit not only had the usual like here's your images or whatever like it had
press releases.
It had links to all of the relevant storefronts and social media pages.
It had an in-depth FAQ on, you know, everything about the game and even the content that's within it, because obviously it's a war game.
