And it's, you know, it's part and parcel of the discussion we're just having about NATO.
Whose interest is all these alliances?
Are we going to be antagonizing our allies?
Are our allies going to be antagonizing us endlessly?
And does that make them not allies?
And is there anything worth preserving as far as this special friendship?
Or has it gone too far in the other direction?
Does it even matter?
I think it's one of those things where it's raising issues that need to be talked about.
