Even though we were pretty banged up early in the year defensively, a lot of young guys kind of came in and stepped up.

So I feel like our team's kind of had like a next man up mentality so far this year.

Yeah, I think adversity is a good thing if you make the most of it, right?

Yeah, like my junior hockey experience was a little up and down, but I was able to kind of figure it out in my age out year, which then led to me going to Western Michigan and had success there and led me to pro.

So I do think the most important thing in hockey is you got to have fun with what you're doing, right?

I enjoy what I'm doing, obviously.

Right now with the way the year has started, it's pretty easy to have fun.

But I think that's important.

Going to the rink every day, having fun, enjoying what you're doing.
