And I know that uh in previous years and Blue Jay's path, when they got up to the when they got off to those really hard starts, it just shows you how difficult it is to play catch up.

As we see, every time the Blue Jays win, the Red Sox have been winning.

And every time the the Blue Jays lose, uh the Red Sox lose.

Uh that Marlins game the other day that the Red Sox lost when they had a chance to to catch a game on the Blue Jays was probably incredibly frustrating.

Um so yeah, it I think it just illustrates how difficult it is once you put yourself behind the eight ball, uh especially in August and September when you're playing a lot more divisional games.

And another thing that's working in the Blue Jays favor over the Red Sox is that the Blue Jays have the tiebreaker.

Um, I do miss the game one sixty three, that that tiebreaker game that MOB used to play.

Uh, but I also really like that every head to head matchup means a little bit more now.

So y you want to take that series against uh other teams that you might stack up against in the playoffs because it does mean a lot.

So yeah, I think if you're the Red Sox, uh

You have a lot of work and you're kind of hoping for a blue jays collapse that I think is not going to come right now.

So uh if you're Boston, I think that you're playing for home field advantage in the wild card series right now.

That's gotta be the priority.

Yeah, I think uh when we talked at the trade deadline, I said that Dustin May is a guy that obviously is incredibly intriguing.

I think any team would want to get him in uh, I guess their their pitching factory and try to unlock some things.

Uh I think health has really played a part in him not reaching his his full potential.

And yeah, I think he's been a pretty fun addition for the Red Sox right now.
