Uh and he's given he's given them uh pretty quality starts at the end.

Of the rotation, which is something that they needed.

Uh he doesn't necessarily pitch deep into gains, but uh yeah, the strikeouts are there.

He's striking out uh over batter parenting, which uh he was not doing with the Dodgers.

So they definitely tweaked his arsenal a little bit.

Um he is getting hit around, but not necessarily hard contact.

Uh he's not really walking guys, he's keeping the ball in the ballpark so far.

Uh so uh so far I think this gamble has paid off for the Red Sox.

And they kinda their bullpen has kind of faltered now that their starting pitching has been better.

So uh it's just one of those things that over the course of the season, like not everything is always going to work together.

But yeah, I think you have to be pleased with the with the early results with Dustin May so far.

I think what's more concerning is that this is just another injury over a long course of injuries.

Um he's battled durability problems throughout his career and

Not necessarily his fault, but it does seem that he kind of has struggled to stay on the field.

And and maybe that is why he so far he has not been one of the young players to get an extension.

Uh maybe they want to see if he can he can play more consistently.

But yeah, obviously uh a pretty big blow at second base.
