Peyton is a guy that I think showed he could do what you were just talking about, which is they're overloading.
Is there a creator over here who can create a shot for himself or others and not just be relegated to spot up shooting?
And even in the corners, he shot well.
So that was going to be a tough thing to figure out as he came back and was coming off the bench.
It's so much tougher now that he missed this time.
It's the biggest bummer to me because I feel strongly that on paper, they built a roster that's far more suited to beat that defense that you're describing.
I would think it's probably less about some sort of microburst of development with Christian and more about confidence.
That's my opinion.
So maybe in some way you can look at that as a vote of confidence in camp, right, to step up.
Whereas just Christian coming off this injury,
You know, I think in a regular season context, he's played a lot better coming off the injury than the way he's been talked about.
But the greater question and fears, they still stand about how teams are going to guard this team and how he can take advantage.
And I think he, in my opinion, it seems like he's getting in his head a little bit about when to pass and when to shoot.
And I just think Jokic is very concerned with ironing that wrinkle out more than anything else.
So we'll see how that shakes out, but...
That to me, it just seems clear, clearly.
He'll tell us he plays every game the same way.
It's just, you know, he's lying to our faces.
I'm fine with it.
But there's the Wemby game, which is I need to do this so we can win this game.
