So I started listening to podcasts like Equity Mates, She's On The Money.
I think I read Barefoot Investor like everyone else did at the time.

Yeah.
I did actually.
Yeah, that's so funny.
Yeah.
So no, I did that and took all the steps it did.
And I eventually crawled my way out of debt.
And I say crawl because it is not easy, but so worth it once you get there.
And then the biggest thing was, yeah, I had to change my mindset around money.
And I wanted to be able to teach others, especially females as well.
You don't see many females talk about it.
So
I talk a lot about intentional spending and a lot of it is your mindset around money.
Yeah, and I was watching my friends tell me how much savings they had or, like, they were going overseas.
And I guess, you know, obviously Instagram's a highlight reel, but watching other people's lives, I was like, oh, my gosh, I need to do something about this.
Yeah.
And I think a lot of people think frugal is cheap.
yeah and it's not to me to me frugal living is about being intentional about where you spend your money so it's finding where your values are so for me what I value others might not so like frugal living I'm happy to make my coffees at home yeah you know say no to going out to some dinners saying yes to others I'm happy to have bare nails not get my nails done but I will turn the heater on at home when I'm cold and I will save for traveling it's just about being intentional and making sure you know you're getting value out of your money rather than just spending it on any
