I can't tell you what book it was.
It wasn't Barefoot Investor and I wish I went back and looked.
There was a book and it told me to print out my last three months of statements.
Scary.
Yeah.
And it said, I want you to highlight the things that you either don't even remember what they were or you wish you didn't buy them.
You've never worn them or anything like that.
And it was scary to see how much was highlighted.
I was like, whoa, I am spending way more than what I even want to be spending on.
That was the biggest eye-opener for me and I was still in a lot of debt and seeing all that highlighted in, like, I think I did, yeah, the three months, I was like, whew.
That is a lot of yellow.
So that's the thing.
It's not never spending money.
Like I'm trying to not spend money.
I'm trying to like just spend it on things that actually value.
And I look back and go, yeah, that was worth it.
That concert was 100% worth it.
All that dinner with my friends.
Yes, that was worth it.
