So you always want to be a mother.
So tell me about, did you want to, and I don't want to pry, but we spoke about this yesterday on the phone.
Some people might be thinking, oh my God, that's so personal, Brenna, but we spoke about this yesterday when I called you just about coming on.
But did you want to, when you got married, say, okay, now it's going to start a family.
How soon did you want to begin your family?
What age were you around then?
Thirty seven.
And we're both aware that women can go into menopause at any age, which would have been a surprise for yourself.
You know, when you got pregnant on Islay, did you have the worry that, oh, we're not going to hang on to this?
There's lots of people I've had on the podcast who have found out they're pregnant within two or three weeks and they tell everyone they're pregnant because that's still a pregnancy.
It's a pregnancy from the moment of conception.
Did you tell anyone or did you wait a certain amount of time just for fear something might happen?
That's hard to listen to.
As well as going through everything you were going through and then thought you were disappointing people.
And then they didn't know what to say.
Obviously you were going through such a hard time at the time, but...
Did you come to realisation that they weren't disappointed and they were just devastated for you, your friends?
I remember when Deirdre told me and you were fairly well into your pregnancy and I couldn't believe it.
