But anyway, the point is that this has exposed Farage's shortcomings and flaws and that he's not actually the alternative.

I mean, I think it just goes to show how cynical we are about our politicians and their motivations.
That so much emphasis in this debate has been on whether it's about point scoring, whether it's about exposing divisions, whether it's about aligning yourself in respect of leadership ambitions and very little actual concern about whether or not this is actually important.
