If it is the case that women are turning up at the last minute and just discovering they're pregnant, then maybe an information campaign to tell people, look, there is a 12-week cut-off point.
And it seems to me that this is part of a move maybe to extend the 12-week cut-off point, that that's what's behind this.
But, I mean, I find it really patronising, actually.
I heard Mary Lou MacDonald say, all women in crisis pregnancies who go to a doctor have thought it through.
These are the same geniuses who told us two years ago that they knew that all women felt patronised by the words woman and mother in the Constitution and that we'd be really relieved to get rid of it.
And they were wrong about that, and I do believe they were wrong about this, and treating all women as having the exact same thought processes in a situation where you know you're in a crisis pregnancy.
The word crisis itself means...
It means panic.
It means confusion.
It means fear.
And I mean, I heard a lot of talk, for instance, about women in coercive controlling relationships who may not be allowed to go back to the GP for their second appointment.
What about the women in coercive controlling relationships who are now going to be marched to their GP by that controlling man to do not come out of there without those pills?
I don't want to hear anything about three day waits.
Is that not a possibility at all?
There's no mention of them anywhere in any of the coverage today.
