No matter what technology comes, we will find a way to connect with other real, actual humans.
Technology will get in the way of that a little bit.
It will make it more complicated and make it more difficult.
And we will not stop looking for genuine human connection until we get it.
And that's what we look for every single day.
is very mentally healthy for us, probably because it recognises the boundary between self and non-self as being very porous.
OK, so we spoke earlier about individuals and your idea of this defined individual with a start and an end.
But we also spoke earlier about how connected we are.
And in a sense, we merge into other people quite a lot, particularly when we're interacting closely.
So that merging into a group is very mentally healthy.
We also spoke earlier about people turning off their brain.
And there are people who do all of this at the same time.
And those people are standing on Hill 16 during an All-Ireland final.
What those people have done very cleverly, and often without thinking it through, which is totally the best way to do it...
is they have merged themselves into a collective, into a group of people who are cheering and screaming and utterly, utterly committed to a match that's playing itself out on a pitch.
